New 12,700 square foot ambulatory surgery center to be built on 1.75 acres of land in Odessa, Florida which is part of the Tampa MSA.
National Healthcare Realty was recently awarded a build-to-suit orthopedic focused surgery center development in Florida in conjunction with a national ASC management company that will lease and operate the completed facility. This new ground-up build-to-suit development project will feature four O.R.s and be designed in a manner to support maximum patient throughput.
“...elective outpatient procedure volume will continue to increase for the foreseeable future.”
Working closely with the physician partners and ASC management company, NHRD and the design team at Grace Hebert Curtis (GHC) were able to create a one of a kind facility that will meet the needs of the surgeons while at the same time offering an enhanced patient experience.
"When the Client engaged us, it was important to them that we create a facility that best suited the needs of the individual local physicians in the market" said Jecoah Byrnes, CEO of National Healthcare Realty. "We're confident that when finished, this new free-standing ambulatory surgical center will be the most suitable environment for the physicians to perform their cases as elective outpatient procedure volume will continue to increase for the foreseeable future."
Construction of the facility is scheduled to begin in May of 2020 and the new center will open for the first cases in 1Q2021. The facility is being constructed by Precise Construction of Tampa Florida, and Axiom Bank provided the construction financing.
