Jecoah Byrnes is a nationally recognized leader in commercial healthcare and retail real estate, with more than 25 years of experience in brokerage, development, and consulting across the United States. He has partnered with healthcare providers, hospitals, institutional investors, and corporations nationwide to deliver patient-centric healthcare environments and innovative real estate strategies that reflect the evolving landscape of healthcare delivery.

As Founder and Broker of NHRD, Mr. Byrnes directs the firm’s national healthcare real estate platform—overseeing corporate strategy, growth planning, development projects, brokerage services, and asset management initiatives across multiple markets. His expertise spans every stage of the real estate cycle, including market analysis, site selection, entitlements, feasibility studies, design management, lease and sale negotiations, financing, and asset monetization.

In addition to his advisory and brokerage experience, Mr. Byrnes has personally founded and managed a multi-market healthcare operating company, giving him a unique, firsthand understanding of the relationship between real estate operating costs and the financial performance of healthcare enterprises. This operational perspective enables him to align real estate decisions with broader FP&A strategies, ensuring that each property or portfolio decision directly supports organizational growth, efficiency, and long-term sustainability.

Over his career, Mr. Byrnes has completed more than 300 healthcare real estate brokerage and development assignments in 22 states nationwide. His ability to connect real estate strategy with operational and financial objectives makes him a trusted partner for executives and development leaders seeking scalable, data-driven solutions that enhance patient access and organizational performance.

Mr. Byrnes holds the designations of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), is a Masters of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) candidate, and is a licensed real estate broker. He also studied Healthcare Administration at Regis University in Denver, Colorado—bringing clients a rare combination of deep real estate acumen and healthcare industry insight.
